Facebook is back online after a massive outage that also took down Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Oculus

A global Facebook outage lasted for about six hours before the service started coming online around 5:45PM ET. Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger all appeared to be affected by a DNS routing issue that started just before noon ET on Monday.
